ScotPHN has undertaken a scoping of skin cancer in Scotland. It is now available.
Aims
- To describe the epidemiology of skin cancer in Scotland.
- To outline changes to UV exposure and the impact on health, with particular reference to skin cancer.
- To review the evidence of effectiveness for both primary prevention (avoidance of solar and artificial ultraviolet radiation) and secondary prevention (early detection) of skin cancer.
